World Science

World Science

I used to think about the advancements we made in Science and the Technology development. We could list a lot right from electricity to nanotechnology. However we observe that any R&D work is short lived in a particular area. Whenever there is a breakthrough in Science, people follow the work and later after decades Technology develops. Take the case of superconductivity where we use it today in accelerators and many other fields. However even the Scientists are moving towards product realization, which is the job of a Technologist. This may hinder the development of Science, the effect of this could be felt after a few decades.
